What Love Is......

a Lord who somehow is patient enough to let us keep coming back time and time again.

a husband who gently prays for you when your head hurts so bad you really can't see straight.

a daughter who belts out (offkey) Jesus Loves Me with her daddy.

a mom who sends an uplifting email after her son glorifies God in his sermon on Sunday.

a friend who fights for and agonizes over her schedule so that she can serve your daughter in school once a week.

anticipating spending the evening with a new friend you never thought you'd make.

seeing an open Bible on the bathroom floor when you go to clean it.

a dad who will buy Playstation 2 and then go back to the store for more controllers so that the whole family can play.

logging on to the computer and having four people ask to online chat with you before you can even type in your password.

a fiancee waiting for you at the airport after you've been gone for three weeks.

a husband who sets up your computer to blog with pictures included!

a mom who makes a phone call that embarrasses the crap out of you, but does it because she cares.

a husband who buys a movie to watch based on your word alone.

hearing that some friends of yours are starting a family of their own.

friends who still check to see if I'm blogging after months because well....
they love.

What cool observations of love! They make me want to perceive more of what love is through the simple things around me. Praying Woman, may the Lord continue to grow your insights and increase the blessings that come with meditation on what is lovily, beautiful, and good. God's reflection in your words is greatly appreciated and truly inspirational.
